The Senior Adviser Emergency Response Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering emergency management systems, processes, and frameworks across the Auckland, Northland, and Waikato region. You will work closely with people from all levels of the department, building strong relationships to understand situations and influence accordingly.

You will need to have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to make good decisions under pressure. Experience writing and running desktop exercises, ideally for inter-agency response scenarios, is also essential.
