We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Asset Protection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure services organisation, you will be responsible for providing testing and commissioning of substation assets with a strong focus on OH&S.
Key Responsibilities- Fault finding, installation, testing, programming, maintenance, and repair of substation and electrical assets.
- Managing substation, transformers, and switch gear maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and solve equipment issues.
- Carry out relevant quality checks and audits.
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical certificate or licence.
- Minimum 5+ years industry experience in power assets.
- Hold registration (full, provisional, or limited) from the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) as an Electrician or Electrical Engineer.
- Practical industry-related experience is essential.
- Experience with HV, substation, or power transmission is desirable.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of industry standards and codes.
