Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Kaiako to join our team at Te Ako o Te Tui. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits to support your professional growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high-quality education and care programs for tamariki 2 years and above
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a nurturing environment that promotes tamariki's learning and development
  • Foster strong relationships with whanau, colleagues, and tamariki
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment that values whakawhanaungatanga

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A New Zealand qualified and registered teacher with natural nurturing qualities
  • Experience working across all age groups, with a particular interest in working with younger tamariki
  • A strong working knowledge of Te Whariki and current ECE theory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
