About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead and drive successful delivery of major projects across Aotearoa New Zealand. As a key client interface, you will develop working relationships, problem solve, and drive projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale projects
  • Develop working relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage project design process to achieve client requirements
  • Review project plans and specifications
  • Manage project safety and environmental requirements
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and reporting
  • Manage project budgets and advise on options to keep budget on track
  • Direct line management team responsibilities
  • Travel to client offices as required

Qualifications

  • A recognised degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management
  • 20+ years of industry experience working on and successfully delivering major projects, specifically within Health
  • Mix of domestic and international experience preferable
  • Advanced Microsoft skills essential
  • Primavera skills highly regarded
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to lead and develop a team
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
