We are seeking a highly skilled HR professional to join our team at the Department of Conservation in Christchurch. As an HR Advisor, you will provide expert advice and support to managers, team leaders, and supervisors within the Department.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of HR-related projects and activities, including policy development, training and development programs, and employee relations. You will be working closely with various stakeholders across the Department to achieve business outcomes.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert advice on HR policies and procedures.
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of DOC systems and processes, and/or generalist HR skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- A tertiary qualification in HR or a related discipline.
- Experience in providing HR advice and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory – this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
