The Wellington International organization is seeking an experienced account manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, the successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the equestrian industry.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of sales experience in the equestrian industry, particularly in the English disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING AND POTENTIAL CLIENTS IN THE EQUINE INDUSTRY.
- Identify and develop new advertising opportunities across digital and print platforms.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.
- Create compelling presentations and proposals customized for client needs.
- Deliver proposals to clients with speed and excellence.
- Analyze industry data to determine ideal targets and stay up-to-date on new sales modalities, trends, and technologies.
- Collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams to develop effective advertising solutions for clients.
- Demonstrate an understanding of journalistic independence and maintain confidentiality when required.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and outreach targets.
- Forecast revenue to the sales director monthly and quarterly.
