About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Thames. As a key member of our ICAMHS team, you will play a vital role in assessing, formulating, and treating complex presentations that require specialist psychological input. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering psychologically informed and evidence-based care that is goal-directed and solution-focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing and formulating complex cases requiring specialist psychological input
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatments and best practices in clinical psychology
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes
Requirements
- Registration with the New Zealand Psychology Board or eligibility to obtain
- Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZPB or eligibility to obtain
- Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience working within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, including openness and professional respect
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration
