At Kiwibank, we're committed to making a positive impact on our customers and communities. As an intermediate Platform Engineer, you'll play a key role in our Enterprise Digital and Technology hub, focusing on digital workplace security.
Key Responsibilities- You will work with senior engineers and our QA, site reliability, and infosec specialists across a number of technologies, including identity governance and endpoint detection/response.
- You will be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of our enterprise security and governance systems.
Requirements:
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft identity platforms, including Entra and Active Directory - this is essential for the role.
- Strong experience with at least one programming or scripting language.
- Experience leveraging APIs for complex system integrations.
- Familiar with the best practices and standards for data protection, privacy, and risk management.
- Values automation and scripting over manual repetition; and shares and encourages others on the team to do the same.
Bonus (not essential but advantageous to have):
- Experience in an operational / systems role in a banking or other highly regulated environment is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Identity governance and privileged access management solutions would be beneficial but not mandatory.
