**About the Role**

This position plays a critical role in the development and execution of Adidas' brand communications strategy in New Zealand. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Communications, PR & Media, the successful candidate will drive key marketing initiatives for the local market.

The ideal candidate will support and drive a range of marketing activities in New Zealand, including brand communications, PR, events, social media, partner activation, and retail (DTC). The role will be responsible for leading the local PR strategy, ensuring an always-on media approach and managing the local PR agency.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop the local PR strategy for the New Zealand market, including building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Brand Communications team to manage and execute key campaigns and category moments in New Zealand.
  • Support partner activation and publishing for owned and partner social channels.
  • Manage paid media activation in New Zealand, including asset development and execution.
  • Support retail (DTC) activation objectives, including events and store launch plans.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • PR experience, prior experience in PR / local PR knowledge beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the paid media landscape.
  • Industry awareness and market knowledge.
  • Rounded marketing experience essential across the marketing mix (brand, digital, PR, etc.).
