Privacy Specialist

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Compliance Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing formal & privacy complaints and providing advice and guidance to organisation's leaders.

• Fulfill the role of Privacy Officer for Playcentre Aotearoa
• Manage formal & privacy complaints and provide advice and guidance to organisation's leaders
• Draft, review and revise policies through conducting thorough research

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent project management skills and a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles of natural justice and fairness.

Playcentre Aotearoa is a well-established organisation with over 80 years of experience in supporting parents to take the lead in their children's learning through play. We operate 400 Playcentres throughout the country.

This is a permanent position for 40 hours per week and based at our National Service Centre in central Porirua. We are looking for a person that has strong relationship skills and can manage and resolve formal complaints, ensuring swift and satisfactory outcomes.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in policy analysis or development.
• A demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles of natural justice and fairness.
• Excellent relationship management skills - proven ability to interact effectively and confidently with a range of stakeholders.
• Adept at working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Enjoys working collaboratively with a 'can do' attitude.
