Job Description

As a Production Line Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing lines at Straitnz in Papakura. Your responsibilities will include operating high-speed manufacturing machinery, completing quality checks and production calculations, and ensuring adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain high-speed FMCG manufacturing machinery, including machine setup, changeover, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Accurately complete and document quality checks and production calculations.
  • Participate in process improvements and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a Manufacturing or Production environment, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good physical fitness, including the ability to lift heavy products (up to 25kgs).
