You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective execution of tasks, interacting with drivers and other team members to maintain strong relationships.
Responsibilities- Operate compactors, excavators, dump trucks, and bulldozers, ensuring precision and accuracy in waste placement and excavation tasks.
- Maintain strict compliance with health and safety protocols, interacting with drivers as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
- Valid NZ driving license Class 1 or Class 2.
- WTR Licences (wheels/tracks/rollers).
- Proven experience in operating heavy earthmoving equipment.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of workplace Health and Safety practices.
- Mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong work ethics and exceptional time management skills.
- A competitive starting hourly rate of $30 per hour.
- A permanent full-time position with a guaranteed 55 hours per week.
