The Role
We're seeking skilled Technical Support Specialists to join our team in providing excellent service. As a Technical Support Specialist, you'll assist with diverse IT environments, occasionally on-site, offering desktop and engineering support.
Your close client interaction will emphasize exceptional communication and top-tier service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients through effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues remotely and on-site, ensuring swift issue resolution
- Onsite support across several clients (varying locations) – valid NZ driver's license required
- Building and supporting end-user devices (PCs, laptops, thin clients, printers, mobiles, tablets)
- Diagnosing faults / troubleshooting / problem solving
- Network / Windows desktop and Server support
- Building productive working relationships across a variety of colleagues, clients, and suppliers
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records of client interactions
Requirements:
- Work experience in equivalent field with IT services experience or training
- Proven experience in technical support, maintenance, or a related role
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with hand tools, ladders and networking equipment is required
