The Role

We're seeking skilled Technical Support Specialists to join our team in providing excellent service. As a Technical Support Specialist, you'll assist with diverse IT environments, occasionally on-site, offering desktop and engineering support.

Your close client interaction will emphasize exceptional communication and top-tier service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients through effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues remotely and on-site, ensuring swift issue resolution
  • Onsite support across several clients (varying locations) – valid NZ driver's license required
  • Building and supporting end-user devices (PCs, laptops, thin clients, printers, mobiles, tablets)
  • Diagnosing faults / troubleshooting / problem solving
  • Network / Windows desktop and Server support
  • Building productive working relationships across a variety of colleagues, clients, and suppliers
  • Document service activities and maintain accurate records of client interactions

Requirements:

  • Work experience in equivalent field with IT services experience or training
  • Proven experience in technical support, maintenance, or a related role
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with hand tools, ladders and networking equipment is required
