Our mission is to enhance the lives of individuals and families in Hawke's Bay by providing essential services that address their needs. As part of our organization, Sunny Days is a licensed early childhood education service that delivers high-quality ECE that is responsive to the needs of each child and their family.

We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead our passionate and skilled team at Sunny Days. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of the New Zealand ECE curriculum, and a commitment to promoting equity and excellence in ECE.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide strategic direction and management for Sunny Days, ensuring the delivery of quality care and education that aligns with our centre philosophy.
  • Lead a team of Kaiako, providing coaching and development opportunities to support their growth and success.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices that promote excellence and equity in ECE.
  • Maintain strong relationships with whānau, fostering a sense of community and partnership.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience as an ECE Centre Manager or similar role.
  • A current New Zealand ECE Practising Certificate and recognized qualification in ECE.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on developing and supporting staff.
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and the promotion of Māori cultural values.
