Car Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Car Maintenance Technician.

Avis Budget Group is a leading global car rental company, committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. We operate 7 days a week and require someone who can work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each week from 09:00 to 19:30.

As a Car Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that rental vehicles are clean and ready for customers to use. This involves washing, vacuuming, shuttling, and detailing rental vehicles, as well as conducting minor repairs and maintenance as needed.

You will assess vehicle condition, identify any potential damage, and report it according to our vehicle damage procedure. Additionally, you will review returned vehicle gas levels and kilometers, accurately inputting this information into our hand-held devices.

Your responsibilities will include refueling gas tanks, checking fluid levels, tire conditions, pressure, and tread depth. You will also complete paperwork and documentation as required and maintain the cleanliness of the rental car lot and other areas.

• A full, clean, valid Class 1 driver's license is essential for this role.
• Previous experience in a hands-on or physical laboring role is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in all weather conditions, delivering a high standard of work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
