Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Services Technician to join our team at Southern Cross Christchurch Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high standard of sterilising service consisting of the decontamination, inspection, testing, assembly, packing and sterilisation of reusable medical devices.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with current or previous sterile services experience within Operating Theatre to join our team. As a team player with excellent communication skills, you will be required to work collaboratively with our theatre team to deliver a high-quality service. You will also be expected to be flexible/adaptable and respond positively to the changing needs of the business.

Responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of sterilising service
- Decontaminate, inspect, test, assemble, pack and sterilise reusable medical devices
- Work collaboratively with the theatre team to deliver a high-quality service
- Be flexible/adaptable and respond positively to the changing needs of the business

Requirements
- Current or previous sterile services experience within Operating Theatre
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Good organisation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
