Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and preparing equipment and workspaces
  • Measuring and weighing ingredients
  • Kneading, cutting, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods
  • Operating machines to roll and mould dough and cut biscuits
  • Cooling fresh batches of bread, rolls and pastries
  • Adding finishing touches such as glazing buns and decorating cakes

About You:

The ideal candidate must possess a NZ Register Level 4 qualification or at least three years' experience as a baker. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Exceptional food handling skills and relevant experience
  • A commitment to strict adherence to Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations
  • A passion for producing high-quality products
  • The ability to work successfully in a team and independently
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic
