Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Class 5 Hiab truck driver to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for operating hiab-equipped trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class 4 Hiab trucks and have Class 5 for the trailer to load, transport, and unload various materials.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are in good working order.
  • Secure loads and follow all safety protocols during transportation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full NZ Class 5 license.
  • Current HIAB certification and solid hiab driving experience.
  • The ability to follow instructions.
  • Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling duties required.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • A commitment to Health & Safety.
  • NZ residency or ability to provide a work visa.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • A clean criminal history.
