Job Description

Mathematics Teacher Role

The successful applicant will be employed under the terms of the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The role involves teaching mathematics and statistics up to Scholarship level to students in Years 7-15/wharekura.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree and teaching qualification
  • Experience in teaching mathematics and statistics, preferably in a secondary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
