Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our orchards in Bay of Plenty. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, be capable of working in a physically demanding environment, and have the ability to work a varied roster between Monday and Sunday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all field operations, focusing on customer satisfaction through effective management, and maintaining client contracts. Key attributes include:

  • Responsible for overseeing all field operations
  • Focusing on customer satisfaction through effective management skills
  • Maintaining client contracts and negotiating before contract finalization
  • Oversight of compliance and Health and Safety
  • Managing and training orchard staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Requirements

To be successful, candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience or a level 5 diploma qualification in management. Additional requirements include:

  • No criminal conviction history
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
  • Confidence and skills to encourage team members to achieve results
  • Readiness to work in extreme weather conditions and weekends
