About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Professional to join our team at West Wave Pools and Leisure Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to our goal of getting more Aucklanders active, more often.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the Team Leader to develop and implement effective strategies for delivering excellent customer experiences.
  2. Design and deliver innovative outreach programs to engage the community and increase participation in fitness activities.
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance on fitness services, programs, and processes to ensure consistency and excellence.
  4. Take on additional responsibilities as needed, including covering Group Fitness classes and managing debt recovery processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience within the health and fitness industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • New Zealand-recognised fitness qualification (REPs registered).
