This role requires flexibility with working hours, including weekends and late evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and reliable transportation for individuals with mobility needs.
  • Meet and greet service users, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Ensure all passengers adhere to Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Ride on the tail lift of the transport with service users, if necessary.
  • Record and report any issues, problems, or feedback on your specified route.
  • Ensure the safe transportation of medication, if applicable.
  • Record and report any issues relating to equipment necessary for safe transportation.
  • Report all accidents to management.
  • Ensure your own health, hygiene, and appearance meet maximum standard requirements.
  • Be readily available for short notice work and be prepared to cover at short notice.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience or holds Level 2 qualification in driving or higher.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to enjoy talking to people.
  • Physically fit with an enthusiastic, patient, and caring attitude.
  • A safe and confident driver with a clean record and a valid driving license.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
