We're seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Ando Insurance. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a vital role in managing and improving our credit control processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing daily premium receipt allocations and bank reconciliations with high accuracy.
- Effective management of unallocated cash and prompt follow-up on unpaid items to minimize losses.
- Performing detailed analysis on overdue premium receivables and collaborating with brokers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Reconciling customer and broker accounts, resolving discrepancies, and providing timely feedback.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to address financial queries and provide excellent customer service.
- Reporting on aged debtors and contributing to the improvement of our credit control processes through data-driven insights.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in a complex Accounts Receivable position.
- A solid understanding of payment allocation and credit control processes.
- Experience managing debtors and working with allocation systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
