About the Role:
We seek a talented Research Scientist to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, collaborate with experts from diverse fields, and contribute to the development of innovative technologies.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in enzyme and bioengineering to develop new enzymes for more efficient biomanufacturing of complex molecules.
- Collaborate with team members to design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and present research findings.
- Develop and implement new technologies and processes to improve biomanufacturing efficiency and sustainability.
- Write and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals and prepare technical disclosures and patent applications.
- Represent the institute at industry meetings and events.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
About You:
- PhD in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or Biological Engineering, or its equivalent.
- Strong background in chemical/biological/genomic engineering and/or biotechnology.
- Excellent research skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
