About the Job

This role involves effectively leading and managing teams through high-quality recruitment, orientation, communication, coaching, development, performance management, and engagement of all staff. You will hold team meetings to inform, hold to account, identify opportunities, and/or problems, and manage these well and in a timely way. Efficient management is key, including cost management, low error rates, exceptional customer service, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach your team to achieve excellent customer service
  • Build strong relationships with trade customers and generate new customer leads
  • Manage the day-to-day health and safety for the branch
  • Oversee the Trade Counter and Warehouse working alongside our Branch Manager to ensure we provide Fasteners Fast services to our trade counter customers

We are looking for someone with a high level knowledge of fasteners, the NZ fastener industry, and international fastener procurement. You should have people leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and time management. Good computer skills are also essential.
