About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Category Performance Lead to join our team at Placemakers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the performance of our categories.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to develop and execute customer-centric category strategies and plans. With a track record of driving improvements in customer outcomes while maximizing revenue, you will play a crucial role in enhancing commercial performance.

Your key responsibilities will include designing and executing best-in-class ranges for your designated categories, collaborating with the Pricing team to monitor and take appropriate action on pricing, and optimizing supply strategies for core categories.

You will also conduct regular category reviews to ensure product offers are performing and collaborate with Visual Merchandising to optimize in-store displays. Additionally, you will grow key supplier partnerships through effective joint business planning.

Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in Category or Product Management, ideally in a building products or related area. A tertiary qualification in business or marketing is an asset.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills are essential, as well as a customer-focused approach with a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
