Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitising surfaces, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  2. Ensure compliance with cleaning schedules and safety standards, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  3. Handle and store cleaning materials and equipment safely and efficiently, minimising waste and maximising effectiveness.
  4. Support the team in maintaining a hygienic and safe environment, communicating effectively and collaboratively to ensure a seamless service.
  5. Identify and report maintenance or safety issues to the Hospitality Manager, prioritising solutions to address potential risks and hazards.
  6. Contribute to promoting a safe and healthy workplace, adhering to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the Health and Safety at Work Act (2015).
  7. Embody the values of Nurse Maude, upholding our commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to the community.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cleaning or a related field (desired but not essential).
  • Physical fitness, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
