The Government Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Progressing policy development and sector engagement to provide ongoing momentum and ensure senior leaders can make timely and informed decisions.
  • Leading the finalisation of current-state analysis/problem definition/objectives and criteria framework.
  • Working with the sector to understand current state and consider overall direction of measurements, and any potential changes to the existing measurement approach.
  • Engaging key stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Identifying, assessing, and recommending pathways to address issues identified during the problem analysis.
  • Providing advice on the pathway forward.
  • Presenting to key stakeholders including Governance Group.
  • Recommending detailed options/process to progress agreed pathway.

Essential Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. A proven track record in policy development and implementation would be highly desirable.
