About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and hardworking ophthalmologist to join our close-knit team at the Dunedin Public Hospital Eye Department. As an integral part of our team, you will provide high-quality ophthalmology services to all of Otago and Southland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in routine ophthalmology clinics, theatre, and outreach clinics
  • Be flexible with your scheduling
  • Contribute to teaching and training junior members of staff

Requirements

  • Completed specialist training
  • Eligible or hold vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council
  • FRANZCO or equivalent board certification
