About the Role

This full-time position will see you working on Ward 29, a state-of-the-art surgical unit within Palmerston North Hospital. As a Senior Surgical Healthcare Professional, you will be responsible for leading the care delivery team, developing and implementing evidence-based practice guidelines, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

  • Leadership Skills: We are seeking a senior healthcare professional with strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Clinical Expertise: Ideally, you will have extensive experience in surgical nursing, preferably with certifications in Advanced Analgesia, CVAD, Negative Pressure Wound Therapy, and IV cannulation.
