Key Responsibilities- Serve customers with daily tasks such as sourcing and selling products, researching and inputting data, processing orders, creating and maintaining stock displays, and cleaning the store.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge, including books, stationery, gifts, office products, and greeting cards.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge.
- Previous retail experience using POS terminals and Eftpos.
- Good computer skills, including Advance Retail POS, MS Excel, database, and web.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and oral.
- Attention to detail and clear legible penmanship for writing notes and orders.
- Mature attitude, strong work ethic, and sense of responsibility.
- Ability to retain information and product knowledge in a fast-changing environment.
- Physical and mental agility to keep up with daily tasks on the shop floor.
- Reliable transportation to get to work before your shift starts.
- Well-presented, pride in appearance, personable, and friendly manner.
