About the Role

The Matanga Tapuhi Nurse Practitioner will work autonomously and collaboratively with the Emergency Department team to provide patient-centered healthcare services, including diagnosis and management of health consumers with common and complex health conditions.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the NZ health system, recent clinical experience in area of practice, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a holistic understanding of Maori health needs and be registered as a Nurse Practitioner with authorized prescribing and hold a current practicing certificate.
