The Role
We are seeking a Health Safety & Systems Assistant to support the implementation and maintenance of health and safety systems. This is a full-time on-site role located in Whakatu. Daily tasks will include documentation management, conducting safety audits, assisting in compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing service support related to safety inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and risks
- Assist in the analysis of safety data and provide recommendations for improvement
- Provide technical support and training to employees on health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in health and safety, environmental, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret safety data
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
