Surgical Theatre Operations Manager

Theatre Nurses play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of surgical procedures in our operating theatres. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing elective, acute, and trauma surgeries. Your expertise in perioperative nursing will enable you to provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a perioperative setting
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Current New Zealand registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong focus on quality healthcare and patient safety
- Robust perioperative knowledge and skills, with experience in arthroplasties, spine, and acute surgery
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, think critically, and demonstrate empathy and compassion
