Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Education Director to join our team at Te Kopuru School, a well-resourced Year 0-8 school situated on the Pouto Peninsula. As a rural community-focused institution, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive and progressive environment for our students.

The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Education Director who:

  • Has a clear passion for education, school, and community
  • Is committed to being visible, approachable, and transparent
  • Values and embraces Te Ao Maori, showing enthusiasm for Te Reo Maori me ona Tikanga
  • Has a proven ability in strategic development and review, and is outcomes-focused when needed
  • Is able to build strong and meaningful relationships with our tamariki, staff, whānau, board, and community

As an Education Director at Te Kopuru School, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate commitment to achievement and provide our students with a diverse range of learning opportunities across the breadth of the NZ curriculum.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a unique opportunity to work in a rural community-focused school. Our benefits include:
