  • Our ideal candidate will be a seasoned IC physical design engineer looking for a new challenge. In this role, you will work closely with the front-end design team to develop comprehensive chip floorplans, clock architectures, and power plans.

  • You will lead the entire physical design lifecycle, from Netlist to GDSII, ensuring high-quality outcomes at every stage.

  • Ensuring design integrity is key to your success. You will conduct formal verification, static timing analysis, and physical verification to maintain the highest standards of chip design.

  • In addition to optimizing power consumption through power analysis and implementing design strategies for improved efficiency and reliability, you will oversee the tapeout process, bringing designs from concept to reality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • To excel in this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering/Microelectronics/Computer Science.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital backend design, preferably with tapeout experience in advanced technology, is required.

  • TCL, Perl, or Python script development, and familiarity with EDA tool design, are advantageous skills.
