**Job Description**

The Strategic Asset Integration Team is at the forefront of defining our transmission asset management strategies, directly impacting Transpower's long-term goals and strategic objectives. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for developing and communicating the asset management strategy for the Transmission Lines Portfolio.

You will lead cross-functional engineering teams to develop and deliver asset management strategies across the business, serving as the go-to guide on transmission line asset strategy. Your technical leadership will guide decision-making at all levels, ensuring that asset investment and performance opportunities are identified and evaluated to deliver long-term value.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Develop and communicate the asset management strategy for the Transmission Lines Portfolio
  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams to develop and deliver asset management strategies
  • Serve as the go-to guide on transmission line asset strategy
  • Undertake whole of life economic modelling to help rationalise transmission lines asset management strategies
  • Identify and evaluate asset investment and performance opportunities to deliver long-term value
**What You'll Bring**

You'll be someone with experience in Transmission Lines and asset management, with creative problem-solving skills and strategic vision. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills will enable you to influence at all levels, while your commercial orientation and customer focus will excel in business writing and translating technical recommendations into long-term strategic plans.
