Perovskite Glass Scientist

The University of Canterbury is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate/Postdoctoral Fellow to join our research team in the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences. The successful candidate will contribute to a research project focused on the creation and characterisation of hybrid organic inorganic perovskite glasses, with the aim of developing new materials for LEDs.
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have a strong background in chemistry or materials science, with expertise in glass characterisation and properties. Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, research, and organisational skills are also essential, as well as proficiency in English (written and oral).
The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Thomas Bennett, contributing to data collection and analysis, dissemination of research results, and providing technical and administrative support for the project. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to innovative research that has the potential to transform the field of optoelectronics.
