Job Description

Mental Health Services Delivery

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team at a correctional facility. In this role, you will conduct intake evaluations, provide therapeutic interventions, and develop treatment plans for inmates. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the clinical needs of your caseload, providing staff training on mental health topics, and documenting all findings in accordance with company and facility policies.

Clinical Expertise

  • Conduct screening, assessments, and triages for inmates referred by security, healthcare staff, and other community sources, and provide appropriate recommendations for their level of care.
  • Develop and recommend treatment plans, conduct essential treatment services such as psychoeducational and transitional groups, and provide suicide prevention interventions and management techniques.
  • Respond to sick call requests, provide medication adherence, and coordinate with prescribing providers for medication evaluations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Other Related Mental Health discipline.
  • One (1) or more years of experience in a Mental Health treatment program, preferably in a Correctional or Hospital setting.
  • An unrestricted, current license in the State of practice – e.g. LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, Psychologist.
