Academic Physiotherapist

We are looking for a skilled Physiotherapist to work as a Professional Practice Fellow in our Nelson Hub. In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with students while working in a clinical setting.

1. Teaching and Assessment: You will support teaching across various papers in the clinical setting, including preparation, assessment, and administration duties.
2. Liaison and Communication: Effective communication with students, colleagues, and clinical partners is essential in this role.
3. Contributing to Academic Goals: As a Professional Practice Fellow, you will contribute to the School's academic goals by applying and sharing your expert knowledge in physiotherapy.

• You must hold registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board.
• Have a full New Zealand driver's license.
• Be compliant with the Vulnerable Children's Act.
• Be compliant with current Ministry of Health mandated requirements.
• A positive attitude.
• Confidence to liaise effectively with students.
• Strong communications skills.
• Experience with liaising with clinical partners and supervising students.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Proven experience in a broad range of physiotherapy practice.
• Ability to work autonomously & within a team.
