About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Autopsy Pathologist Specialist to join our team at Health New Zealand. As a forensic pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting autopsies and providing expert opinions on cause of death. You will work closely with coroners, police, families, courts, and medical staff to ensure that justice is served.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting autopsies and performing post-mortem examinations.
  • Providing expert opinions on cause of death.
  • Collaborating with coroners, police, families, courts, and medical staff.
  • Supervising and training forensic pathology trainees.
  • Providing teaching sessions for medical students and new police officers.
