About the Role:
Hauora Tairawhiti is seeking a skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our dynamic team. As a specialist in women's health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex obstetric and gynaecological needs.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in clinical management of antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, as well as experience in colposcopy, LLETZ procedure, laparoscopic surgery, and pelvic organ prolapse repair.
As part of our team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and improve our O&G services. You will also participate in an on-call roster, covering maternity, acute gynaecology admissions, and gynaecology inpatients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical care of patients with moderate levels of complexity
- Development and improvement of O&G services
- Participation in on-call roster
Requirements:
- Vocational registration in the Scope of Practice of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- Overseas-trained Obstetrician and Gynaecologist eligible for MCNZ Provisional Vocational registration under the supervision pathway
