Job Description

This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within industrial settings. Key responsibilities include collaborating with project managers and engineers, performing electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies, and overseeing the procurement of electrical materials and equipment.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician with significant experience handling electronic motor controls, PLCs, networks, and SCADA systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment such as pumps, motors, and control systems
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including integration between the two
  • New Zealand Registered Electrician with a current practising license
