About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Learning & Development Manager to join our team at Southern Cross Christchurch Hospital.

The successful candidate will have proven leadership and people management skills, as well as experience in developing and facilitating education within a hospital environment.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work collaboratively with Clinical Nurse Educators and other staff members to promote staff development throughout the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist Clinical Nurse Educators in developing and facilitating education programs within the hospital.
  • To promote staff development and growth throughout the hospital.
  • To work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • A Registered Nurse qualification (RGON, RCpN or BNPDRP).
  • Expert level or Proficient working toward Expert level in a related field such as education or leadership.
  • Postgraduate qualification in a related field such as education or leadership.
  • 5 years recent experience in a surgical hospital environment.
