The Opportunity
We are seeking a Manufacturing Planning Manager to oversee the creation, maintenance, adaption and communication of plans or other schedules within the Manufacturing team to achieve manufacturing targets.

This role involves working closely with staff across Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure that a Manufacturing plan is clear and can be delivered. You will need to clearly communicate the plan with stakeholders across the business, at all levels, how manufacturing is tracking relative to the plan and where there are delays or risks to the delivery.

As our Manufacturing Planning Manager, you will be a key enabler of RP meeting commercial targets, which are essential to the success of the overall business. All leadership roles at RP are expected to be champions of our values, bringing them to life through knowledge sharing, mentoring, remaining hands-on and mentoring less experienced members of the team and will ensure ongoing capability development for the broader organisation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within an R&D or development company.
  • Experience in a multi-site/multi location and outsourced supply manufacturing operation
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Planning or Project Management position.
  • Good working knowledge of manufacturing environment and planning tools
  • Excellent people skills with an internal and external customer focus
  • Excellent organisation skills detailed oriented
  • MRP / ERP systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong ability with Excel
  • Technical qualification - project management, operations management, engineering or another relevant field
  • Analytical mindset
  • People leadership experience
