About the Role

This is a dynamic position that allows for flexibility in the application of evidence-based intervention tools to achieve positive outcomes for children and their families. Reporting to the Psychologist Team Leader, the successful candidate will gain exposure to comprehensive specialist parenting assessment work, assessments of children with complex care and protection histories, and other therapeutic interventions.

Experience working with children in a care and protection environment, providing assessment and therapy with children and their caregivers, and assessments of parenting capacity will be an advantage. The successful candidate will work with a number of differing ethnicities including Māori and Pacific clients and will liaise with community providers.
