  • Maintain strong relationships with community networks, health professionals, and agencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-level qualification in a relevant field such as social work, counselling, psychology, or community development.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health conditions, the mental health system, and what people experience with mental health challenges.
  • Experience in engaging with tikanga Maori and understanding of cultural diversity.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a minimum of two years' experience in a team lead role.
  • Effective listening and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office and other software packages.
