Critical Incident Response demands a dedicated professional like you to join our team as a Crisis Support Advisor for a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This role is designed for individuals seeking a fulfilling career in emergency management services. You will be based in the Auckland city centre with flexibility to work from home, reporting directly to the Readiness Manager. Your core responsibility will be guaranteeing our systems and resources are fully prepared to respond swiftly in emergency situations.

You will collaborate with our Principal Supply Chain and Partnerships team to develop and implement emergency logistics plans and tasks. Moreover, you will work closely with our Senior Advisor-Volunteers to establish and maintain our Volunteer Programme, incorporating health and safety management systems.

Your contributions will include delivering training and development programs for AEM staff, elected members, volunteers, and agency partners. Your exceptional communication skills will allow you to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with:

  • Extensive experience in activations, Emergency Coordinate Centre, or comparable high-stress roles.
  • Superior stakeholder management abilities, fostering strong, trusted relationships.
  • Outstanding public speaking, training, or workshop facilitation expertise.
