The Wellington Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides comprehensive care for infants with complex medical needs. Our team works closely together to deliver individualized care plans, ensuring each infant receives the highest level of care.

About You
  • Vocationally registered in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
  • FRACP or equivalent qualification and ability to register for vocational registration with the MCNZ
  • CCPU or similar qualification and experience in performing neonatal ultrasounds (cardiac and cranial)
  • Experience in following up infants with complex medical issues and high risk of neurodevelopmental impairment
  • Able to provide consistently high standards of medical care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
