About the Position
We are seeking three experienced Senior Medical Officers to join our Intensive Care Unit at Nelson Hospital. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to critical patients and contributing to a cohesive team culture of collaborative practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations
- Participate in an Intensive Care daytime roster and an Intensive Care after-hours on-call roster
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Essential senior experience in providing Intensive Care for patients with acute, severe, and life-threatening conditions
- Eligibility for an Annual Practicing Certificate with relevant vocational scope with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education and professional development
